Safety technical requirements for demolition of portal scaffold

After the construction of the project is completed, the scaffold can be removed only after it is checked and verified by the person in charge of the unit project and confirmed that the scaffold is no longer needed. A scheme shall be made for dismantling the scaffold, which can be carried out only after being approved by the project leader. The removal of scaffold shall meet the following requirements:

1) Before dismantling the scaffold, the materials, tools and sundries on the scaffold shall be removed.

2) The scaffold shall be removed according to the principle of later installation and first removal, and the following procedures shall be followed:

① First remove the top handrail and baluster from the cross edge, then remove the scaffold board (or horizontal frame) and the escalator section, and then remove the horizontal reinforcing rod and cross bracing.

② Remove the cross support from the top span edge, and simultaneously remove the top wall connecting rod and the top door frame.

③ Continue to remove the gantry and accessories in the second step. The free cantilever height of the scaffold shall not exceed three steps, otherwise a temporary tie shall be added.

④ Continuous synchronous downward disassembly. For wall connecting parts, long horizontal rods, cross bracing, etc., they can be removed only after the scaffold is removed to the relevant span gantry.

⑤ Remove the sweeping rod, bottom door frame and sealing rod.

⑥ Remove the base and remove the base plate and cushion block.

(2) The dismantling of scaffold must meet the following safety requirements:

1) Workers must stand on the temporary scaffold board for demolition.

2) During the demolition work, it is strictly prohibited to use hard objects such as hammers to strike and pry. The removed connecting rod shall be placed in the bag, and the lock arm shall be transferred to the ground first and stored in the room.

3) When removing the connecting parts, first turn the lock plate on the lock seat and the lock plate on the hook to the open position, and then start the disassembly. It is not allowed to pull hard or knock.

4) The removed portal frame, steel pipe and accessories shall be bundled and mechanically hoisted or transported to the ground by derrick to prevent collision. Throwing is strictly prohibited.

Precautions for removal:

1) When dismantling the scaffold, fences and warning signs shall be set on the ground, and special personnel shall be assigned to guard it. All non operators are strictly prohibited to enter;

2) When the scaffold is removed, the removed portal frame and accessories must be inspected. Remove the dirt on the rod and thread and carry out necessary shaping. If the deformation is serious, it shall be sent back to the factory for trimming. It shall be inspected, repaired or scrapped according to the regulations. After inspection and repair, the removed gantry and other accessories shall be sorted and stored according to the variety and specification, and kept properly to prevent corrosion.
